Ajsgramie (Sue)

I live in upstate New York(90 miles due south of Montreal,Quebec,
Canada and 300 miles due North of New York City).  I have been
married to my husband Roger for 25 years.  We have one son Jonathan
and a grandson AJ.  AJ spends summers with us.  We have one very
spoiled cat Harley.

I have been sewing for about 47 years.  I sew on and off and do many
different crafts.  Mostly it depends on what peaks my interest at the
time.  Each year I piece lap robes and Roger ties them for the VA
hospital in Albany.  I bought an embroidery machine 18 months ago and
have been making blocks that I send to the Kids in Distress project.
Besides sewing, I like to crochet, knit. I use to cross stitch but I
find it too hard to see and not enjoyable any more.

I have hand quilted one project in my life time.  I must say that I
found it quite difficult for my large fingers and limited space.  I
do wish to learn to machine quilt.
