CFQG - The Village Quilt Shop

Welcome to the Quilt Shop.

My name is LindaTX, 1st VP of Cyber Friends Quilt Guild. One of my duties is to oversee and coordinate swaps for our members.

Here in the Quilt Shop, you will find information about our swaps and the sign-up sheets for them. You will also find general guidelines for all swaps. There will be specific information posted above the sign-up sheet for each swap. You will need a user name and password to access this information and that can be found on the Message Board.

One of our favorites is the monthly themed "Block Lottery." This is a great way to try out a block design before planning an entire quilt. The best part is the drawing of the names. If your name is drawn you win blocks for that month!

There is the possibility of a Block of the Month (BOM) and/or a Challenge during the year.

Joining a swap, challenge, or a BOM project is your decision. Don't worry about your level of quilting ability. We were all beginners at one time. There are many members willing to offer advice, guidance, and encouragement and it's a wonderful opportunity to learn new skills.

I can't think of a better way to solve quilting problems, share techniques, learn new methods, and have fun, than being a member of Cyber Friends Quilt Guild. I hope you will take advantage of all that is offered to you by this guild. The friendships that are formed are wonderful.
