Hi, my name is Catherine but I go by Cath, Cat, or Cookie.  The only
people who still call me "Cathie" are my dad and brothers.  Go figure.
:-D  The little angel in the pic with me is our Shih-a-Poo, Katie.  We
got her from the pound almost 4 years ago and she is my constant

companion...'til "Daddy" gets home from work.

I will have been married to the most wonderful man in the world for 25
years this coming December 23.  I've been asked many times why I got
married 2 days BEFORE Christmas.  Let me tell you something...it was
the dumbest thing I ever did.  Especially when you take into
consideration the fact that my birthday is three (yes, 3) weeks AFTER
Christmas.  I get cheated every year. LOL

Born & raised by my wonderful parents (along with 4 younger brothers)
in Peoria, IL, moved to S. CA when I was 26, then to MI (first time),
then to Chesterton, IN (home of the world's largest Wizard of OZ
Festival.;-)), and finally back to MI.  Whew!  My fabric has gone with
me on every move, too, much to my husband's chagrin.

No children...not because we didn't want kids just one of life's
little jokes.  We do "borrow" our nieces & nephews whenever we can,
though.  Spoil 'em rotten and send 'em home. We are soooooooooo bad.
:-D  We hosted our first Rotary Foreign Exchange student this year and
are hoping to participate again in the Fall.  That is an experience!

Hobbies?  The obvious is quilting but I also love to read, bake
cookies (hence the nickname), collect cookbooks, redecorate (about
ever 2-3 years; hubby says it would be cheaper to move), research on
the 'puter, take college courses (I really will get my Bachelor's one
day), and spend time with my very best friend...my husband.
